I was with two other LTL carriers before coming to Southeastern. I've been here for 20 years now and honestly wish I spent my whole 37 years in the industry here. SEFL has very competitive pay, excellent benefits with a really good 401(k) program, and has mostly all new equipment. I have friends and family who work for other LTL carriers, and they all want to know what SEFL's next move is, because we are a leader in the industry. SEFL has surrounded themselves with really good management, and it shows.

"About 29 years ago, I started working for Southeastern Freight Lines in Charlotte, NC! I was a 20-year-old kid who didn't know where her life was headed and who knew very little about the transportation industry. Today, I am the Service Center Manager at our Wilmington, NC, facility. The decision to come work for SEFL is, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I have ever made. Wonderful company with wonderful owners who are second to none!"
Melinda Hillman
Service Center Manager

"Working for SEFL has been life changing!!! I came from a company who was all about putting money in their pockets and never looking out for their employees. It’s like day and night working here. We are appreciated here at SEFL for all our hard work and it shows... from a simple thank you, to the cookouts, to even the yearly raises. I enjoy coming to work every day and working with people who I could call my family. We all work together to get the job done. I’m currently a P&D Driver for SEFL out of our NOR Service Center in Virginia. I have only been here two years, but I do not plan on going anywhere else. This is my home and I love working for a company that genuinely cares for all of their employees."
Becky Rogers
P&D Driver

“I love working for SEFL because this is the first job that’s felt like home. I’m treated equally in every aspect and I’m always given the opportunity to grow. My superiors truly care about me and look out for me if I voice a concern. Southeastern is a home away from home for me!”
